She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Shillington and Alice Anna Maude Shillington (Givens); her sister Jean (Scott); and her brother-in-law Orrie Simcoe (Scott). She is survived by: her husband Michael Bona; her children, John (May) of Cobourg and MaryJane Steeves Mazurek of Brighton; her grandchildren, Jo-Anne Steeves Merry (Jack) of Cobourg, Patrick Steeves (Marcia) of Peterborough, Edward Mazurek of Colborne and Ben Mazurek (Lauren) of Lakeport; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Christopher Merry, Kennedy and Addison Steeves; and her close friends, Betty Buck, Ruth Chapman, Marg, Charles Martyn and Rick Gravel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to donate to our mother's favourite charity 'Meals on Wheels' Community Care Brighton, it would be greatly appreciated by the family.
