He was predeceased by: his parents, George Purcell and Ellen Purcell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Donna Purcell of Wellington, Gord (Val) of Wellington and Catherine Reeder (Shayne) of Wellington; his grandson Joshua Thorne (Jake) of Calgary; and his sister Lillian Marsden (late Don) of Oro-Medonte.
