Donald Colby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Colby in Brighton, Ontario, born in Montréal, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Colby and Thelma (Macdonald); his children, Margaret Jennifer and Ian (Patty); his grandchildren, Erin (Chad LaForty) and Sean (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Eloise and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Staples-Colby.
