He was predeceased by: his father Arie. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Chris (Barbara) and Adam (Alex); his grandchildren, Ivan, Evangeline, Logan and Blake; his mother Elisabeth; and his siblings, Rick (Yvonne), Gary, Cathy Kuipers (Len) and Mike. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 a private interment will take place.
John's family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 102-121 Dundas Street East, Belleville, ON K8N 1C3.
