He is survived by: his spouse Colleen Ireland; his children, David Friedel (Lois), Dan Friedel and Valerie Friedel (Andrew); his stepdaughters, Samantha Knudson (Tomasz Krol) and Jessica Arnold (Joseph); his grandchildren, Tyler (Nadia), Alanna, Warren, Melissa, Michael, Eric, Heather, Marcus, Isaac and Avery; his siblings, Sally Rogers, Michael and Larry; and his sister-in-law Dianne Whiteside.
