Ken Franklin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, Ken Franklin of Breslau, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Joyce Bell (Ron Beatty); his parents, Earl Franklin and Loretta Franklin; his brother Larry Franklin; his niece Shelley Franklin; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Bell, Loy Franklin and Ruth Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Thompson); his children, Deborah Franklin of Kitchener, Tassos of Kitchener, Angela of Kitchener and Jeff Kartechner of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Devin, Sydney Baty, Felicity Baty, Liam Colson, Jenna Kartechner and Justin Kartechner; his great grandchildren, Isla and Ivy; his siblings, David and Ginny Franklin; and his siblings-in-law, Don Thompson, Ron, Carol Thompson, David and Dianne Thompson. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home (2723 Victoria St N, Breslau, ON N0B1M0). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Make a Wish Foundation or Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program would be appreciated by the family.
