He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Perkins; and his brother Maynard Perkins. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Susan), Kevin, Brent (Rusty) and Tanya (Mark Hicks); and his siblings, Freda Perkins, Zilda Milne and Laurie Perkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkwood Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family.
