He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Gedcke and Elsie Schade. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Mark (Anne) and Brian; his grandchildren, Ruth (Eric) and Richard (Olivia); and his great grandchildren, Isaac and Nathan.
