He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Muriel; his children, Barbara and Brian; and his brother George.
He is survived by: his wife Alice (Nee McBride); his children, Danny O'Brien (Brooke), Ewan MacLeod (Antonella), Jessie Cadieux (Stephane), Arthur Churcher (Nathalia) and Alexis Churcher (David King); his siblings, Jean Anderson (Jim), Beverly Peterson, Marilyn Cheski (Carl), Donny Peterson (Kelly) and Bobby Peterson (Joyce); his sister-in-law Doris Jensen-Peterson; and his friends, Winton Miller and Opal Logan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
