He was predeceased by: his parent William Johnston; and his sibling Fred. He is survived by: his parent Grace Johnston (Hounslow); his children, Kevin Johnston and Katherine Johnston Newsome (Craig); his grandchildren, Aidan and Bree Newsome; and his siblings, Bill, Robert and John Johnston. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
