She is survived by: her children, Grant, Laura Gilroy (Ken), Brad Creighton (Meg) and Lynn Wilson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Sean Gilroy (Kate), Tyler Creighton (Erica), Derek Gilroy (Charlotte), Michelle Creighton, Travis Kovacs (Linda), Nicole Stuyt (Kevin) and Leanne Wilson (Skylar); and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Hunter, Lennon, Harrison, Blake, Lucy and Callie.

Donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, and Diabetes Canada.
