She is survived by: her siblings, Gary (Patsy) and Lary (Carrie); her spouse Gordon Surgeoner; her children, Brae (Luke), Drew (Jen) and Jade (Ben); and her grandchildren, Aspen, Lily and Rilen.

In her memory donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus.
