He was predeceased by: his siblings, Francis, Jimmy, Bob, Tom, Billy, Wally, Lily, Edna and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Hermeston; his sons, Jay Nichols (Joanne) and John Nichols (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Alex (Kalynn), Sydney (Patrick), Sarah (Matthew), Jordan (Sophia) and Kevin (Meghan); his sister Lorna; and his siblings-in-law, June Hermeston (late Wally), Gert Hunks (late Bob) and Fred Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON N3R7K8).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
