He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mervyn, Mel and Howard Plant. He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his daughters, Ruth Barrowcliffe (late Allan), Judy Nagy (late Robert), Nancy Ferland (Joseph), Patti Plant-Babcock (late James) and Peggy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
