In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Connie Boone (Bill), Anne Dey (Robert) and Susan Fitzpatrick (Gary). She is survived by: her children, Michael Flaherty and Kelly Flaherty (Rob); her grandchildren, Christine Flaherty-Plourde (Erika), Sean Flaherty-Plourde and Danielle Flaherty; and her brother Bryan Greenwood. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre (88 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON N3T3H3).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Brantford Public Library would be appreciated by the family.
