She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Reg Baker; her children, Jennifer Read (Clarence), Charlie Baker (Joanne), John Baker (Mary Jane), Jim Baker (Cheryl) and Marjory Chmielewski (Les); her siblings, Winnifred Biehn, Frances Mannen, Judy Davis, Edna Thrasher, George Atfield, Helen Hicks, Ronald Atfield and Leonard Atfield; and also, Frances and Veronica. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
