He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carter and Margaret Carter; his sister Emily Fountain (late Bill); and his brother-in-law John Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Paula Carter; his children, Kyla Carter and David Carter (Jaymie); his grandchildren, Parker and Hayden; his siblings, Agnes Moore (Sam), Marlene Steinbach (late Lloyd) and Stewart Carter (Rita); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Gordon (Sheena), Drew Gordon (Chris Lund) and Brent Gordon (Trudy).
