He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Jennifer and Julia; his wife Margaret Canning (Schmieder); his siblings-in-law, Mary Schmieder and John Schmieder (LeeAnn); his nephew Anthony Schmieder; and his cousin Claire Sumler.
