John Pierre Genest Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, at the age of 72, John Pierre Genest (Brantford, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Morrissette and Colette Lariviere; and his brother Andy. He is survived by: his wife Alejandra; his children, Mike Genest (Amanda), Ricky Genest (Lita), Kimberly Haizel (William), Aaron Estolas (Kayla), Kristine Funesto (Rian), Kathrina Estolas (Beau) and Arnel Estolas (Amanda); his grandchildren, Maya, Cali, Bella and Benjamin; and his sisters, Nicole (Charlie), Diane, Sylvie (Lorne), Jean and Julie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto Blue Jays so that they can invest in a better "bullpen" would be appreciated by his family.
