He was predeceased by: his parents, Arie Boender and Willemijntje Boender; and his siblings, Jannigje (Mario) and Lena (John). He is survived by: his wife Donna Wheatley; his children, Cheryl (Alfred), Dianne (John) and David (Sarah); and his family, Stoney Creek and Hamilton. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces as well as by the numerous friends.
A reception was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Toll Funeral Home (55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, ON N3R2H4).
