He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Joao Manuel, Olympia Oliveira (Joe) and Ana Carreiro (Antonio Jose); and his grandchildren, Tommy (Tina), Joyce (Shaun), Brian, Christina, Benjamin, Michael (Laura) and Paul. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
