She was predeceased by: her grandson Mark Easterbrook; her parents, Beatrice Rakoci and Vincent Rakoci; and her siblings, Henry Rakoci, Sonny Rockery, Mary Illes and Simone Steeves.

She is survived by: her spouse Walter Penner; her children, Gail Smith Morgan (Don) and Lona Robinson (John); her grandchild Ranai Taylor (Randy); her pet Maggie; and her siblings, Yvonne Courtnage (Joe), Florence Gambacort, Linda Portilla (Frank) and Eddie Rockery (Donna).
