He was predeceased by: his wife Christina Higgins; his parents, William Reid and Ruth Reid; and his siblings, Gerry and Nancy.
He is survived by: his children, Karen, Will, Susan (Mike Brown) and Kathryn (Alan Reston); his grandchildren, Lise (Peter), David (Amanda), Matt (Molly), Phillip, Ian (Meredith) and Robbie (Karlie); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Elliana, Owen, Lincoln, Brielle, Cameron and Landon; and his sister Janice Telfer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
