He was predeceased by: his parents, Stefano Imola and Maria-Giuseppa Imola; his parents-in-law, Giacinto and Margherita Ferraccioli; and his siblings, Antonio Imola (Carlotta), Francesca (Antonio Fiorini), Giuseppa (Lorenzo Magni) and Maria Imola.
He is survived by: his wife Caterina; his grandchildren, Jennifer Romano, Stefan Romano (Erika Polidori), Lauren Imola, Jacob Imola and David Imola; his siblings, Bernardo Imola (late Giuseppina), Orazio Imola (Luisa) and Assunta (late Pietro Berardi); and his siblings-in-law, Maddalena (late Biagio Ferraccioli), Maria and Girolamo Palmegiani.
In memory of Giovanni, donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or Juravinski Hospital-Hepato Biliary Department.
