He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Moyer. He is survived by: his father David; his siblings, Clayton and Kathleen (John Hutchison); his nephews, Julian and Alexander; his daughters, Niki (Rory McDougall) and Bettina (Adam Kingdon); and his grandchildren, Dawson, Myla and Novalee.

The family asks that donations be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation and Juravinski Hospital via the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
