She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne; her parents, Edward DeSmet and Henrika DeSmet; and her brother George. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Grace Hankinson, Lois Kearns and John Duralia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
