He was predeceased by: his parents, Morley Wilcox and Carrie Pearl Wilcox; his siblings, Lynn, Mary, Jack, Don, Jean and Ross; his brother-in-law Russ; and his brother Stuart.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly "Pebbles", Debbie and Scott Wilcox; his grandsons, Steven and Richard Attwell; his great grandchildren, Owen and Haydn Attwell; his brothers, Ralph and Murray; and his sister-in-law Mary. He is also survived by uncle and hero to many nieces and nephews and extended family.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Elmo can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
