Elfriede Schmidt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede Schmidt in Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Elfriede shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elfriede farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Klaus Schmidt; her son Andreas Schmidt; and her mother Greta Knaus. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas (Madonna) of Simcoe and Matthias (Leanne) of Paris; her grandchildren, Elisabeth, Anya and Matthew; and her brother Werner Knaus (Anni) of Dudelsheim.
