He was predeceased by: his siblings, Albert (Phyllis), Ernest (Dorthy), Jean and Eleanor (Elmer). He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Julia (Duane), Marcia (Paul), Kevin and Glen (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kari (Jeff), Ryan (Samantha), Jesse (Emily), Kyle, James, Taylor (Jen) and Whitney (Jake); and his siblings-in-law, Brant (Sue) and Trudy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON N3R7K8). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Douglas to Autism Awareness.
