He was predeceased by: his parents, John Novak and Nellie Novak; his brothers, Lawrence (Joan) and Henry (Mary); and his brother-in-law Bill Dmetriuc.

He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Shawn (Paula Meyer), Greg (Tina Noble) and Natalie; his grandchildren, Owen, Griffin, Mike (Cara), Matt, Spencer DiPaolo, Cali and Dylan; and his siblings, Ed (Doris), Mimi Pacan (Blackie), Carl (Jay), Fran Dmetriuc, Bernice Gardner (Tom), Tommy (Joan) and Vicki O'Connor (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
