He was predeceased by: his son Bill Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his stepchildren, Morgan (Sandi), Barbara (Donald) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Connor, Kirsten, Ben and Tess; and his siblings, Gary and Nancy (Bill). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre (88 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON N3T3H3). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
