She was predeceased by: her husband Alan; and her parents, John Benson and Daisy Benson. She is survived by: her children, Barbara McGregor (Don) of Port Rowan, Robert Abrey (Wanphen Chsaeng) of Thailand, Vicki Marshall (Andrew) of Courtland, Debbie Linington (Rob) of Brantford and Scott Ryerse (Carol May) of Delhi; her siblings, John Benson (Colleen) and Sandra Surette (Gary); her grandchildren, John, Kris, Jason, Andrew, Rebecca, Amanda and Siriwan; and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Ava, Meghan, Julia, Henry and Sam.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind.
