He is survived by: his close friend Karen Miller; his children, Tracey Gooding and Lisa Van Kooten; his stepsons, Brian Nelson, Rick Nelson, Earl Nelson and Shane Nelson; and his siblings, Edward, Irvin Gooding and Dorothy Sipes. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
