It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilhelmina (Mien) Donkers of Branchton, Ontario, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her son William (Cheri); her great grandchild Charlie; her siblings, Theodora, Johannes, Martinus, Johanna and Martina; and her close friend John Leyzer.
She is survived by: her children, Simon (Barb), Mary Poirier (Paul), Bob (Anne) and Peter (Patty); her grandchildren, Emily (Justin), Gillian (Matthew), Matt (Deb), Amie (Matthew), Jacob (Cori), Calvin Poirier (Meaghan), Billy (Megan), Laura, Sarah (Sean), Steven (Lucy), Heather (Rob), Virginia (Chris), Shannon (Joey), Andy (Alyssa), Pam (Mark) and Charlene (Josh); and also Holland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (210 South St, Cambridge, ON N1R2P4). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Mount View Cemetery (80 Blenheim Rd, Cambridge, ON N1S4H8).
