We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, at the age of 92, Tilly Hoekstra (Brampton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, let us honour Tilly's memory by embracing the beauty of each fleeting moment, knowing that her spirit resides in the eternal tapestry of existence, forever woven into the fabric of our hearts.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Hoekstra; her daughters, Hilda and Dorothy; and her great-grandparent Beppe. She is survived by: her children, Wendy (Mark), Betty (George), Jeffrey (Leona) and Joanne (Mike). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the CrossPoint Christian Reformed Church (444 Steeles Ave W, Brampton, ON L6Y0J3). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

“I am so sorry to hear of tante Tilly’s passing. She was a very beloved friend of my mother and father Elly and Piet Keizer. I am just learning of this today from my mom who had a very difficult time getting the words out. Wonderful memories of family times spent together over the years. sincere condolences, Marion”
