He was predeceased by: his parents, Douwe and Marie; and his wife Jane Drost. He is survived by: his daughters, Monica, Heather and Anita; his children-in-law, John, Simon, Kurt and Georgina; his grandchildren, Hali, Annalise, Evan, Kaeden, Kit, Rebecca, Derek, Isaac, Isla, Owen and Ben; his great grandchild Kenyon; and his friend Joyce.
