She was predeceased by: her husband David Spencer Rawlings; and her parents, Frederick Pear and Margaret Pear (Hanlon). She is survived by: her children, David Wayne Rawlings (Heather) and Karen Saylors (Bryan); her grandchildren, Michael Rawlings, Laura Stevenson (Gregory), Kathleen and Martin Saylors; and her great grandchild Liam Stevenson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ruby's memory to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
