He was predeceased by: his mother June; his stepfather Alf; and his brother Scott. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Kevin Thomson (Pamela); his sister-in-law Margaret Newland (Chuck); and his granddaughters, Cassandra and Alexis.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Robert's name to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Arthritis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
