He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Bateman and Evelyn Bateman; and his siblings, John Ronald, Raymond (Dianne) and Rhonda (Andrew).
He is survived by: his wife Wichittra Duangloessom; and his nieces and nephews, David (Tiffany), Kimberly (Gary), Jason, Daniel, Kathleen and Mark (Supriya).
