He is survived by: his wife Auzenda (Zee Cavaz Marques); his sisters, Lucilia Agostinho (late Carlos Agostinho) and Leonor Marques; his sons, James and Christopher (Julia); his grandchildren, Jackson and Charlotte; his father Manuel; his siblings, Aurora (Joao Macedo), Natalia (Joao Augusto), Adilia (late Albert Silva), Oliver, Jose "Zeca" Marques (Gida Mendonca) and Mario; his brother-in-law Frank Cavaz (Julie Carcione); and his siblings, Maria (Albino Lopes) and Manuel (Mary Ferreira).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Porfirio to the Second Phase Peel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
