She was predeceased by: her former husband Andy Mercer; her daughter Elaine; and her sister Elaine. She is survived by: her husband Bob Whitehouse; her children, Linda Schouten (Adrian), Bob Mercer (Louise) and Larry Mercer (Leona); and her grandchildren, Darian, Heather, Shannon, Bryan, Leanne, Reanna, Dana and Lauren.
Flowers or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in memory of Julie would be appreciated by the family.
