She was predeceased by: her spouse Ignatius Anthony James; her parents, Celestine Nalliah and Helen Nalliah of Jaffna; and her siblings, Edith, John, Hilda and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Corinne (Mahendran), Glenn (Dushy), Sharmini (Anton), Lalaini (Valentine) and Sherine (late Shan); and her grandchildren, Brian, Karen (Fausto), Steven, Amanda, Mathew, Adrian and Andrea. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
