He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hannah Abrefi and Kwame Asamoah of Kumasi, Ghana.; his children, Kwabena Antwi Asamoah, Aretha Akosua Wusua Adams and Ivy Akua Safwa Lopez; his wife Myrtle Asamoah of Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.; his child Abrefi; his stepchildren, Leslie and Joyce; his siblings, Adjoa Achiaa, Akosua Saah, Mary Akua Afrifah, Akosua Serwaa, Kwame Agyemang, Nana Ama and Yao Amo; his children-in-law, Karlene Burrell, Junior Adams and Jonathan Lopez; his grandchildren, Shannon Burrell, Nathaniel Kwajo Lopez, Naomi Joy Lopez, Emmanuel Yaw Boakye, Cassandra Nti, Anthony Nti, Richlove, Akosua Nti, Adrian Taylor, Tinesha Williams and Trevon Williams; his great grandchildren, Ohemaa Akosua Ofosu Pokua, Joel Kwame Asamoah and David Kwame Boakye Nyansa; and also Abrefi Hannah Adjoa.
