He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Margaret; and his sisters, Angela of Dublin, Ireland., Monica of Dublin, Ireland. and Phyllis of Dublin, Ireland..

He is survived by: his wife Anne O'Sullivan; his children, Adele (Don Heelis) and Patrick (Brenda Daly); his stepchildren, Maura (John Asma) and Deirdre (John Goris); his grandchildren, Liam (Lindsay), Katie, Daniel Heelis, Callista, Gabrielle Daly, Thomas, Michael, Molly Asma, Luke (Delaney), Bridgid and Neave Goris; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Mack Heelis and Sullivan Goris. He is also survived by 5 sisters, his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant House, but all the family asks is that he is remembered for the great 'gramps' and great man that he was — full of love, humour, and a gratitude for life.
