With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Tizard of Brampton, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Eric; her daughters, Alison Russell (Brian) and Belinda Nicholls (Doug); her grandchildren, Rylea (Ryan), Erik (Sohyun), Connor (Katrina), Liam and Breanna; and her great grandchild Kasey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (52 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C5).
