He was predeceased by: his wife Lorna. He is survived by: his children, Lynda Voegtle (late John), Roger (Joanne), Karen (Dave Burt), Penny Welsh (Brian), Perry (Toni), Sandra Klazer (Dan) and Darryl (Joan). He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
