He was predeceased by : his wife Eileen. He is survived by : his children, Marion (Dave), John (Bernadette), Jim (Sally), Caroline (Gerard), Paul (Elaine) and Con (Shelley); and his brother Desmond. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (52 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church - Brampton (115 Vodden St E, Brampton, ON L6V1M4). A burial was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at the Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
