Gur Veer Mehta Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gur Veer Mehta (Brampton, Ontario), who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gur Veer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gur Veer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gur Saran Das Mehta and Santosh Chawla; and his son-in-law Albert Shillingford. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena "Magda" Mehta; his children, Sanja Shillingford, Jim Mehta (Isabel) and Rahoul Mehta (Donna); and his granddaughters, Sabrina and Alyssa Mehta.
