He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McCauley and Ursula McCauley of Marysville; and his siblings, Bill McCauley (Mary), Betty Hurley (Ben), Marjorie Clarke (Mel), Kay Hamilton (Bob), Dorothy Mulroney (Gene) and Mary Agnes Masterson (Gerry).

He is survived by: his significant other Marge (Marjorie Brennan); his daughters, Jackie, Janet, Jillian Burnside (Dean) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Meghan, Connor and Bridgid Young; and his brother James McCauley (Evelyn) of Florida.
