She was predeceased by: her spouse Claude Clifton; her son Paul; her parents, Clarence Riesberry and Florence Riesberry; her siblings, Margaret Hunter (Stewart), William Riesberry (Linda) and James Riesberry; and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Clifton (Doris), Warren Clifton (Margaret), John Clifton (Louise) and Ken Clifton (Mary).

She is survived by: her children, Claudia (Aldo D'Agostino) and Ron; her grandsons, Ian and David (Rosie); her great grandchildren, Remi, Emil and Birk; her friends, Rene, Liliana, Faustino and Eulalia; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Riesberry, Joan Kerr (late Gerald) and Duncan Clifton (Dorothy); and her cousin Dorothy Matheson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence's name to Operation Smile Canada or the Canadian Red Cross.
